2005 Pinot Noir

2007 PINOT GRIS $18.00 per bottle

Prices include quantity discounts:

This “grey” variant of the Pinot family is one of our favorites.  2 acres of Pinot Gris nestle between two Pinot Noir sections in the North half of the vineyard.  A brilliantly straw colored wine; hints of orange blossom, litchi, and violet aromas; enters the palette with a refreshing smooth citrus, light apricot flavor, and a hint of honey; finishing with balanced character and a silk like impression; might note some lemon-lime.

Serve this wine with appetizers; a mix of soft ripened brie, Kalamata olives, Bing cherries, pears and your favorite crackers.  Pairs well with shrimp cocktail, seafood, and light pastas.  Avoid citrus fruits or tomato based recipes.

The (old vine) ANINDOR Riesling, planted in 1983 sits on less than an acre at the top of the south half of the vineyard with a breath taking view, and our favorite place to sit and make grapevine wreaths.   RELEASED in April of 2008; this wine is fashioned in the Alsace (dry) style. A light gold color;  floral, and honeysuckle aromas; offers a crisp, clean, light, green apple flavor, hint of minerals representing the terroir , and a smooth long finish leaving you with a splash of residual sugars and yearning for another sip.

A MUST have for your picnic basket.  Riesling is a versatile wine and pairs with ham, halibut, pork, chicken, Asian foods and numerous entrees.  Also a perfect pairing with appetizers; raspberry chipotle and cream cheese; brie and apples baked in a pie crust, avocados, and salads!
