Beginnings of Anindor
Rod and Nina Pace both have entrepreneurial spirits and dreamed of a business that would utilize their past experience and fulfill their future dreams.
Rod has always been passionate about farming; he was involved in a grape hardiness program in college. Grapes are the perfect crop—you take them from beginning to end, and then sit down and enjoy the fruits of your labor.
The six year search for a place where a premium wine could be grown, that was a varietal not in direct competition with California, ended in Elkton, Oregon. The northern Umpqua Valley grows premium Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, and Riesling.
Our goal is to become an estate winery, making a high quality, low volume wine that will sell from our list of friends and family, and from our tasting room.
